8th Army Sp is born around 2 years ago from common passion for history inside a group of miniature player friends.
British troops to be reenacted was not a random decission, though every member has different reasons for his own decision, l'esprit de corps is really high. The excellence of the unit integrity relies, no doubt about it, on this friendship.
In its short life, 8th Army Sp is advancing all ahead flank in equipment, uniforms and attendance to important reenaction events. We care our reenaction role indeed 'cause history and war are not such a joke.
Our association shows a moderated high average age (Only 2 of us are under 30 years old), this is a good point to act as HQ officers but a pain in the ass for simulating combat, as youngsters privates and NCOs used to be.
